🔷 What will you do?
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI backend developers — starting small and scaling as the product evolves
- Define technical direction across architecture, model integration, API design, and deployment
- Stay hands-on: build and maintain REST APIs (FastAPI/Flask) that serve ML/LLM/NLP/vision models
- Review code and provide actionable, supportive feedback to help juniors grow
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams on delivering AI-powered features
- Drive best practices in MLOps, CI/CD, cloud deployment, and performance monitoring
- Own delivery outcomes — ensure high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code shipped on schedule
- Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and technical excellence
🔷 What do we expect from you?
- 5+ years of backend development experience focused on Python, REST APIs, and system design
- Proven experience leading a software team or mentoring developers
- Practical experience with FastAPI, Docker, Git workflows, and CI/CD
- Experience integrating and serving ML/NLP/LLM models (PyTorch, Hugging Face, vLLM, etc.)
- Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and modern web service patterns
- Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Ownership mentality, builder mindset, and ability to make pragmatic trade-offs
- Excellent communication skills in English — clear, empathetic, and aligned with stakeholders
🔶 Nice to have
- Experience with AI-heavy backend systems (RAG, inference optimization, vector databases)
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling and practices (Kubernetes, Terraform, observability)
- Experience scaling small engineering teams and contributing to technical hiring
