As Head of Delivery Squad, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, leading a business unit, developing people, and driving outcomes that matter. 🔷 What will you do?
- Lead the full business operation of your squad from strategy execution to monthly financial performance
- Identify market opportunities and track changes in the competitive landscape, regulation, and technology while keeping leadership informed on what matters
- Build, develop, and inspire your team: hire great people, grow future leaders, and actively shape a positive corporate culture
- Prepare the squad’s annual development plan and budget as well as own the results
- Define and execute initiatives that improve operational excellence, delivery efficiency, and organizational scalability
- Champion innovation and AI adoption across business and delivery processes
- Coordinate seamlessly with other business units; ensure information flows are timely and complete
- Manage and develop strategic partner relationships within your domain
- Evaluate emerging trends and technologies; propose their adoption aligned with Abysalto’s long-term objectives
- Represent Abysalto externally in your area - in client meetings, partner engagements, and the broader market
- Report directly to the company responsible board member and contribute to overall corporate strategy
🔷 What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- More than 5 years of experience in the ICT industry in equivalent or similar leadership roles
- A track record of owning P&L or business unit outcomes, not just managing teams
- Demonstrated ability to balance commercial objectives, client expectations, and delivery excellence
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), cloud infrastructure, and data security frameworks
- Strong strategic thinking paired with the ability to get things done operationally
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments and effectively manage competing priorities
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities, coupled with strong cross-functional communication
- Solid understanding of quality management, GDPR, and information security standards
- Excellent command of English - written and spoken
- High emotional intelligence: you build trust quickly and navigate complexity with composure
- Proficiency in MS Office; valid driver’s licence (category B)
🔶 You’ll get bonus points if you have:
- Experience spanning both technical delivery and commercial / business development
- Established network in the Croatian or regional ICT market
- Experience working with public sector procurement or enterprise clients
