We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong technical backbone — someone who truly understands how software is built, delivered, and scaled. 🔷 What you will do?
- Lead presales initiatives and design end-to-end business solutions tailored to client needs across various industries
- Engage directly with clients during the presales process and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Estimate solution development costs, assess risks, and negotiate with partners, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Contribute to product and project roadmaps within your area of responsibility
- Build system integration proposals in collaboration with key technology providers and internal stakeholders
- Define project budgets, sales strategies, P&L calculations, and support analytics for new business
- Take ownership of revenue, cost, and profitability for your business domain
- Qualify and respond to RFI/RFP/RFQ requests
- Identify and nurture strategic business relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Actively identify new market opportunities and conceptualize business ideas before they even become visible to others
- Work as an entrepreneur within the company — from idea to execution
- Challenge the status quo — your input will directly influence how Abysalto grows its business and defines new service offerings
🔷What we expect from you?
- 8+ years of experience in the same or similar roles within the ICT industry with minimum of 4 years of experience in selling software solutions
- Proven background in software development or delivery (previous experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Consultant, QA/Test Engineer, Software Engineer, or Project Manager is mandatory)
- Strong technical understanding of how complex software systems are designed, integrated, and deployed
- Experience with public procurement processes in Croatia or in international markets is a strong advantage
- Excellent command of the English language
- Valid category B driver’s license
